Join Mark and his long-time musical friends Carl Dimow and Andrea Goodman on Wednesday, August 17th at 6pm for an intimate improvised performance in the beautiful acoustics of St. Paul’s Chapel in Waldoboro, ME (1055 Dutch Neck Rd, Waldoboro, ME 04572).

The trio has performed as Resonance Residence since 2002, and recently performed in Portland as part of Dimensions in Jazz. Resonance Residence creates spontaneous improvised music, drawing on a broad variety of influences, including world folk music traditions, jazz, classical, and experimental sensibilities. Think sound sculpture and musical conversation. The pieces range from mindful tone poems to capricious flights of motives & colors, with an emphasis on beauty and resonance.  Musicians include: Carl Dimow – bass flute, concert flute & guitar; Andrea Goodman – voice; and Mark Tipton – trumpet & flugelhorn.
