On Sunday, February 18th from 3-5:30pm, Les Sorciers Perdus and friends present the fourth installment of “the gravity sessions,” featuring a matinee performance of music, soundscape, and poetry at the Apohadion Theatre at 107 Hanover St., Portland, Maine. A recently-launched monthly series, “the gravity sessions” focuses on interdisciplinary artistic collaborations, and brings together local and national artists.
Featured artists for February 18th include: Les Sorciers Perdus (trumpeter Mark Tipton, guitarist Ryan Blotnick, bassist Tyler Heydolph, and drummer Beau Lisy), noise/sounds/objects/scoring artist Jim Winters on amplified hurdy-gurdy, visual artist Rush Brown, and poets Gil Helmick & Jim Donnelly.
