Les Sorciers Perdus perform Mark’s new score for Frank Borzage’s romantic drama 7TH HEAVEN (1927), starring Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell as part of the 2018 Maine International Film Festival  (MIFF) in Waterville, Maine.  The film will be screened at the Waterville Opera House with live musical accompaniment by Les Sorciers Perdus: Mark Tipton – trumpet, Ryan Blotnick – guitar, Tyler Heydolph – bass, and Beau Lisy – drums.

FILM FACTS: Janet Gaynor won the first Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film (she also won for her performances in 1927’s Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans and 1928’s Street Angel). Frank Borzage won the first Academy Award for Best Director and screenwriter Benjamin Glazer won the first Academy Award for Best Writing (Adapted Screenplay).
